In recent years Daniel has been working in colored paint on glass and has organized group exhibitions for painters and artists' work in different cities in Gush Dan, sponsored by local mayors. His 50-year comprehensive portfolio, which concentrated specifically on the land of Israel and the Bible, gained him a special status in modern Judaica. 

In 1982 Massada Publishing Ltd, published a magnificent album of his work: Israel and the Painting.
